WATCH: Dale Steyn joins Allu Arjun’s Pushpa trend during the SRH photoshoot

Dale Styen performs Allu Arjun's move from the movie 'Pushpa'

Former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn was known for his aggressive attitude on the field. His sheer pace and excellent control of the cricket ball made him the legend of the fascinating game.

However, Steyn is completely opposite off the field as he tends to enjoy every little moment. A glimpse of such was on display when the former Proteas speedster took part in a photoshoot of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

Notably, Steyn has joined SRH as the bowling coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, starting March 26 in Mumbai. Before the cash-rich league begins on Saturday, the SRH players were involved in a fun session during a recent photoshoot.

While some players tried to show their lighter side, bowling coach Steyn stole the show after emulating Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun’s signature move from his blockbuster movie ‘Pushpa’.

The official Twitter handle of Sunrisers shared a behind-the-scenes video of the team’s photoshoot, which featured the likes of Kane Williamson, T Natarajan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rahul Tripathi. During which, Steyn performed the famous ‘Thaggedhe Le’ gesture from the movie Pushpa.

Here is the video:

The 38-year-old is not the only one who has joined the trend. Before Steyn, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo, Punjab Kings (PBKS) batter Shikhar Dhawan, and former Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan have all performed to the viral trend.

Meanwhile, the Sunrisers will be led by Williamson in the upcoming season. The New Zealand skipper was retained by SRH along with the uncapped pacer Umran Malik and middle-order batter Abdul Samad ahead of the mega auctions. The 2016 champions will start their IPL 2022 campaign against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on March 29 in Pune.
