IPL 2023: SRH vs PBKS, Match 14: Pitch Report, Probable XI and Match Prediction

Aiden Markram and Shikhar Dhawan

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 14th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday (April 9). Notably, PBKS are undefeated in the tournament so far, while SRH are yet to open their account.

The Punjab-based team won their previous match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) by five runs. Nathan Ellis was the standout player for them in the clash as he picked four wickets. However, Shikhar Dhawan and Prabhsimran Singh also contributed with brilliant half-centuries. Meanwhile, the Hyderabad-based side has failed to impress in any of the departments and have suffered two one-sided defeats in their previous games.

SRH currently sits at the 10th spot in the IPL 2023 points table and will look to register their maiden win of the tournament when they meet PBKS on Sunday night. At the same time, Punjab will eye the top spot of the points tally by winning against Hyderabad.

Pitch report:

The track at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium helps the batters more as compared to bowlers. The spinners would also come into play as the game progresses. The due factor will play a role in the match as well.
