David Warner and Nitish Rana

Delhi Capitals (DC) will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday (April 20). Notably, both DC and KKR suffered losses in their previous matches. While Kolkata lost to Mumbai Indians (MI), Delhi was defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Manish Pandey was the lone warrior for DC in their match against RCB, as he was the only player to score a fifty for his team. Although Mitchell Marsh was dismissed for a duck in the run chase, he picked up two wickets for Delhi in the first innings. Meanwhile, Venkatesh Iyer slammed a brilliant ton for KKR in their last game but unfortunately ended up on the losing side. Among bowlers, Suyash Sharma bagged two wickets for the Kolkata-based team.

DC currently sit at the last spot of the points tally with no win in their pocket and will eye their maiden victory of the tournament by defeating Kolkata. On the other hand, KKR are on the seventh position and will look to move up in the points table.
