WI vs IND [WATCH]: Virat Kohli celebrates his first four off the 81st ball in an epic fashion
India finished Day 2 of the first Test against West Indies at Windsor Park in a strong position. The Rohit Sharma-led side are currently batting on 312 runs with a lead of 162 and eight wickets still in hand.
After bundling out the hosts for just 150 runs in their first innings, it was the opening duo of Rohit and debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal that led the charge for India and helped them get off to a dominant start by smashing brilliant centuries. The pair added 229 runs for the first wicket until Rohit departed on 103 runs off 221 deliveries. Meanwhile, Yashasvi is still on the crease and batting on 143 off 350 balls alongside Virat Kohli (36).
Apart from a brilliant batting performance from the Indian batters, what won the hearts of the fans was Virat’s celebration after hitting his first boundary in the match on the 81st ball. The 34-year-old celebrated the four almost as if he had reached his fifty or hundred.
It all happened on the fifth ball of the 108th over by Jomel Warrican when Virat was batting on 25 runs off 80 balls with no boundary and drove the ball through the covers to score a four. The former India skipper was seen thrilled following the boundary and rejoiced it by punching in the air with a broad smile on his face. Yashasvi was also seen smiling after Virat’s gesture. The video of the same has gone viral on the internet.

Coming back to the match, India will look to strengthen their position by adding more runs to their total with eight wickets still in hand and centurion Yashasvi on the crease. On the other hand, West Indies will aim to strike a few quick early dismissals on Day 3 and restrict the visitors from gaining a massive lead.
