Pakistan’s star player Muhammad Rizwan is currently in the United States of America (USA) alongside his teammate and captain, Babar Azam.

Babar and Rizwan recently became the first cricketers to partake in Harvard Business School’s executive education program, specifically focusing on The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports (BEMS). From May 31 to June 3, Babar and Rizwan attended classes at the illustrious Harvard Business School campus in Boston, Massachusetts.

Rizwan extended his stay in Boston even after the program concluded on Saturday, June 3. During this period, an incident involving Rizwan caught the attention of social media users, sparking a wide range of reactions from the people of different backgrounds. The video shows Rizwan offering Namaz (prayer) on the streets of Boston.

Babar and Rizwan have joined the lengthy list of top-tier sportspersons who took the famous course in the past; these include Kaka, Edwin van der Sar, Gerard Piqué, Oliver Kahn, NFL’s Brandon Marshall, NBA’s Miami Heat teammates Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, Major League Baseball’s Alex Rodriguez, NBA stars Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Paul, and Pau Gasol to name a few.

Following the program, they will engage with various communities in the United States until June 13, further enriching their experience beyond the academic realm.

A few days back, Rizwan took to Twitter and expressed his prayers for the people affected in the Odisha (India) train accident.
“Loss of human lives is always painful as we are all one ummah. My heart and prayers go to the people affected by the train accident in India,” Rizwan tweeted.
