She became a sports presenter and anchor after becoming a well-known face on TV. She made her television debut as a presenter with the show Beach Girls, which aired on Raj TV.

Bhavana later joined Star Sports Tamil and became a full-time presenter of the channel. She hosted the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia, the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023 and the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 as well.

Popular known as VJ Bhavana, the Chennai born recently hosted the World Test Championship (WTC) Final between Australia and India at the Oval in London. The Aussies won the Ultimate Test by a massive margin of 209 runs on the final day of play.

After the match, Bhavana took to Instagram to share a heartwarming post for the former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri.

“13 years ago, this man saw me at an event for @chennaiipl and told me that I belonged in the world of sport. I never realised the magnitude of his words till I got here. @ravishastriofficial is special, mainly because of his ability to recognise it in others. This is the perfect representation of the #wtcfinal for me,” Bhavana captioned the photo.

“With the man who predicted that I’d be here someday and the closest any Indian can get to the elusive ICC trophy in 10 years! It’s been an amazing ride so far,” she added.
