Twitter goes wild as Liam Livingstone becomes the most expensive overseas player at IPL 2022 auction
On the second day of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auction, England cricketer Liam Livingstone grabbed the highlights after becoming the costliest buy among foreign players.
The high-quality all-rounder triggered a bidding war amongst four franchises – Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Gujarat Titans (GT). However, Punjab eventually won the battle with their say of INR 11.50 crore for Livingstone.

- 10.75 crore – Nicholas Pooran (Sunrisers Hyderabad)

- 8.75 crore – Jason Holder (Lucknow Super Giants)
