IND vs PAK, Women’s T20 World Cup 2023: When and where to watch in India, US, UK & other countries
India and Pakistan are set to lock horns in match no. 3 of Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 at the Newlands in Cape Town on Sunday, February 12. The start time for the much-awaited clash of the tournament is 3:00 pm local/1:00 pm GMT/6:00 pm IST.
Both teams have battled in thirteen T20I matches so far, with Women in Blue winning ten of them. However, the Green Team turned victorious in their last meeting at the 2022 Asia Cup.
India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana has been ruled out of the marquee clash due to a finger injury. On the other hand, the challenge of facing their higher-ranked neighbours in front of a packed crowd in Cape Town is something that Pakistan skipper Bismah Maroof wants her team to embrace.
“I think (the goal) is just to play to your potential on the day. I think it’s a very different venue and a different situation, a different scenario we are in. So we’d like to give our best and let’s hope for the best for the result.
“For us, I think the players will take this as a normal match, but of course, the expectations are more on this match,” she was quoted as saying to ICC on the eve of the match.
Fans across the globe are excited to witness another India versus Pakistan encounter away from home.
